54th Annual
Newfoundland & Labrador
Provincial Drama Festival

2004

This year's festival was hosted by the Carol Players in Labrador City/Wabush. The public sector strike posed considerable challenges, as it placed the Labrador City Arts & Culture Centre off limits. Nevertheless, the festival was a huge success, due entirely to the fabulous efforts of the organizing committee and host group, who called all hands on deck to transform the Royal Theatre (a cinema) into a working theatre. As well, the hospitality and support shown the visiting theatre groups was second to none. Congratulations and no small thanks to all!
